JACK RICCOBONO has directed a wide range of narrative, documentary, and commercial work across the five boroughs of his native New York City and around the world, from Moscow to Shanghai to Freetown. A graduate of Harvard's VES Film Production Program and Werner Herzog's Rogue Film School, he founded ALL RITES RESERVED to create films with global reach that push visual and conceptual boundaries.
His work has screened at venues including New Directors / New Films, the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), DocumentaMadrid, the New Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), the Museum of Modern Art, and at the White House. Commercial clients and commissions include VICE, Nike, NARS, MTV, FEIT, New York Magazine, eBay, American Family Insurance, Starbucks, YouTube, and MSNBC.
Jack's critically acclaimed feature documentary THE SEVENTH FIRE about Native American gang members was executive produced by Terrence Malick and Natalie Portman and premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. The film received a NYTimes Critics' Pick during its 2016 theatrical release in North America and the United Kingdom.
